Why should there be some? In most forums I’m on mods are not restricted to certain areas, but may preside over the whole forum as they please. In most cases it works out well, and, to be honest, far better than on DC. The main function of a mod, preventing the forum from being overloaded with spam, is basically rather similar in every section and can be done far quicker that way.
In cases of major changes or suggestions the mod may post in the Staff Only section, where this plan is decided on majority or by the admin.
I’m not complaining or anything, it’s just a suggestion. Maybe you want to think about it.

It reduces the amount of damage you can do I think...but once proven even more trustworthy then you become a global moderator...I think that's how it works

I know how it works on DC, but as an irreformable optimist I don't believe anyone of the mods would do damage without a proper reason. I mean, we're not in kindergarten anymore, are we?

I only have a little bit of fear about the whole moderators messing stuff up portion. What it really is is that I need moderators watching every board, and if all the moderators watch the same board... I get your point, though.

I guess we're many enough to cover all boards, even without being obligated to If not, there's still the possibility to allocate a certain area to the mods without limiting their powers in the others.

Yeah, I'm trying to find a way that will let me do that specifically - Proboards can be a little weird at times.
