These are all the rules, forms, and pertinent information to placing an orb up for adoption.
The rights for creating new orbs are reserved for the administrators.
Therefore, these guidelines will be done as if you are placing an already-created orb up for adoption.
You can only put your own orbs up for adoption. Let me make that very clear.
Okay, here it goes.

Okay, here it goes.
- First, pick up the orb code. You can do this by right-clicking on the orb and selecting "Properties." Copy the URL, then add the tags on either side of it. The code should look like this:

Simple enough, right? - Next, you need to find which adoption board suits your purpose best. Are you getting rid of a hatchling or an orb? Is the hatchling a beauty or a beast? Do you want something in return? If you're trading an orb, post under the "Adoptions" section. If you're trading a beauty, post under "Beauties," and a beast under "Beasts." If you'd like another orb in return, place your post under "Trades."
- Now you have to actually make your post. Make sure you have a descriptive title - i.e. 1 GEN1 VARWATER UP FOR GRABS! Make the reader actually want the orb. Don't just give it a title like "my orb" or something cryptic. Give us a general idea of what you're giving us.
- In the actual post, follow a format somewhat like this, but remove the guideline text. Replace the first "description" thing and tell us what you're placing out there. It's basically a duplication of the title. If you're doing multiple kinds of orbs, replace the "type of orb/hatchling" with the breed name. The "first orb," "second orb," etc. should be replaced with the actual image of the orb. When an orb is taken, place *taken* beside the image.
Description of orbs/hatchlings:
Type of orb/hatchling~
1. First orb.
2. Second orb.
3. Third orb. - After an orb is adopted, it is your job to notify a moderator or updating volunteer and ask them to move the orb thread into the new owner's habitat. You are also responsible for removing the orb from your personal lists.
- If you are trading orbs, you should also ask a moderator to move both threads, so that fraud is not possible.
I hope this helps and keeps adoption in line!
